Dr (Mrs) Delphine Misan-Arenyeka has a first degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Ibadan, as well as a Masters degree in also in Agricultural economics from the University of London (The Imperial College at Wye, Kent). She is a fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants and an internationally certified consultant by the International Management Consultants Institute. Her experience spans over 38 years post-graduation experience in field work with the International Livestock Centre for Africa (ILCA) now ILRI (International Livestock Research Institute), in Addis Ababa and at the firm, Deloitte Haskins and Sells, management consultants. Her work with ILCA earned her a Ford Foundation Award to proceed for postgraduate studies in the UK.  Her work career for the last 38 years has been in working on various projects involving international, local and private sector clients. She has carried out extensive development studies in collaboration with many international organisations including UNICEF, UNDP, DfID, USAID, IFC, The European Union and the World Bank to mention a few. She has been involved in training state government Project Monitoring and Evaluation Directors in several states on Participatory Techniques in Project and Programme development and management. She served on the board of the Millard Fuller Foundation for over 12 years in the capacity of Chairperson, Finance and Admin matters. She also up till December 2016 sat on the board of the Community Development Foundation. She is currently serving on the board of Palton Morgan Holdings Limited a holding company with five subsidiaries, the household brand owners of PropertyMart and Grenadines Homes. On the Palton Morgan board, she chairs the Governance and nominations committee. She also sits on the board of Grooming Micro Finance Bank (A part of the group of companies under the Grooming People for Better Livelihood Foundation) The bank’s board nominated her as the chairperson of its Finance and General Purpose board Committee.  Always ready to learn, she has attended various trainings, seminars in organizations such as the Lagos Business School, NIBBS, Institute of Management Consultants of which she is a Fellow of the Institute, and the Institute of Directors of which she is also a member, The UK Train the Trainers institute, ICL, and European Union as well as the London Graduate Schools. Dr Delphine Misan-Arenyeka has also had extensive training in extension education and has in turn facilitated “train the trainers” workshops for various organizations. She also facilitates management training programmes in various capacities. In partnership with People Affairs Limited, a Human Resources Consultancy practice engages to bring about development of Human resource processes, best practices, development, mentoring and training. Under her leadership, her company won a British Airways Business Opportunity Grant for Small Businesses in 2011. Her passion to add value to the lives of persons with special needs has endeared her to working with. and supporting various centres and Non-Governmental organization. This has earned her seats on two boards namely Pure Souls Learning Foundation and more recently, CBM Global Disability Inclusion, an international Non-Governmental Organization working in eleven countries across continents. These last two chairs are on a pro bono basis. She is happily married and is blessed with two sons. Her hobbies include reading, cooking, travelling, singing and she enjoys being a mother.
